Defensio for personal use – Defensio Web service for filtering comment spam and malware is available free of charge for personal use. Defensio adapts to the site content and users’ habits in a personalized way. This means that no two bloggers will see Defensio react in precisely the same way, even for similar comments, which is a good thing -- because one person's ham might be another person's spam. A continuously evolving set of algorithms ensures that spammers never gain the upper hand.

Defensio for commercial use – Defensio Web service for commercial users will be offered as a six month trial at no cost.

Develop to Defensio – Websense encourages Web 2.0 application developers to integrate Defensio’s powerful anti-spam and anti-malware capabilities into their applications with an easy-to-use public API that can manage traffic from any application that accepts user-generated content that might be subject to spam, malicious or objectionable content. The combination of Defensio and Websense provides Web 2.0 developers security capabilities that enable them to safely determine if user-generated content is malicious, unwanted or confidential – without having to embed anything in their applications or products.
